Small Groups: these are groups of people who meet once or twice a month around a common interest. The goal of small groups is simply to build relationships among our church members and family and friends or visitors who want to be involved. As we garden together, read together, play board games together, etc., we hope to build deeper friendships and a stronger community. If you don’t see a group below that works for you, contact us about starting your own group!
Book Club: This dynamic group of avid readers reads a book every two weeks and meets in a group member’s home for discussion, great (and sometimes topical) food, and good conversation. Since there is a new book every two weeks, new participants are welcome any time! Contact the church for more information or to participate. Diana Horne, coordinator.
Board Games: This friendly group meets once a month (usually a Friday or Saturday that suits the most people). The games vary: often board games, cards, or a new game folks want to try out. There is great food and conversation as well. Held in group members’ homes. Contact us for more information or to try it out! Coordinators, Lisa and Eric VanderHeide; Mark and Melissa Katibah. Use our contact page for more info!
Family of Those Struggling with Mental Illnesses: Marty McKenzie, contact for details
Weekly Prayer (Friday, 9-10am, sanctuary): Group prayer specifically for our staff, leadership, and each ministry of the church. Contact Clay or Candace Cupples (prayer@gspc.net) for more info or to get on a general e-mail prayer distribution list to submit and respond to prayer requests. (Event LINK)
