Luke 9:18-25 — A look at the meaning and the implications of Jesus’ death on the cross.
Isaiah 9, Luke 1-2 — Faith grows and matures on God’s promises and message, an encounter with Christ, and leaves us changed.
Isaiah 41,43; Luke 1 — God has come all the way down to seek us, redeem us, and bring us home.
Isaiah 40:1-5; Matthew 3:1-6 — God has made a way for us to know Him and turn to Him; Jesus Immanuel is that way.
Mark 5:21-43 — We look at two Jesus encounters to consider the quality of our public and private ‘neighboring’.
Luke 10:25-37 — A surprising actor teaches us about mercy and doing the things we believe.
Mark 2:13-17; Luke 18:9-14 — Jesus showed us how to love our neighbors: recognize our own sin and don’t turn away from the messiness of faithful ministry.
Revelation 1:4-8,17-18; Isaiah 48:12-14a — Who is God? Who is Jesus? — Revelation’s naming Jesus as “the first and the last” will point us towards some answers to those questions.
Philippians 2:5-7; John 12:12-18 — Rather than seeking power, influence, or wealth, we are to serve and love others. Jesus is the only savior of the world.
