Acts 1:6-8 — God uses ordinary followers of Christ as witnesses in word and deed in the world.
Jeremiah 29:10-11 — God’s plan and purpose for His people is to be a blessing people regardless of context or situation.
Jeremiah 29:8-9 — We discern true from false by being rooted in God’s Word and seeking God’s wisdom.
Jeremiah 29:7 — Seek and pray for God’s shalom (well-being, peace) for others and you will find it for yourself.
Jeremiah 29:5-6 — Even in great loss and upheaval God has not turned away, but still calls and purposes humanity for worship and service.
Jeremiah 29:1-4 — Though we may have experienced loss, God has not turned away from us, but comes to us with purpose.
